To all who are spiritually weary and seek rest; to all who mourn and long for comfort; to all who struggle and desire victory; to all who sin and need a Savior; to all who are strangers and want fellowship; to all who hunger and thirst after righteousness; and to all who will come, this church opens wide her doors and offers welcome in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN

MINISTER:

Say to them, 'As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. (Ezekiel 33:11)

Let us confess our sins and ask God’s forgiveness praying together: (In Unison)

Almighty and most merciful Father, we have erred and strayed from Your ways like lost sheep.  We have broken Your holy laws.  We have left undone those things which we ought to have done.  And we have done those things which we ought not to have done.  O Lord, have mercy upon us according to your promises declared to us in Christ Jesus our Lord.  And grant that we may live a godly and righteous life; to the glory of Your holy name. Amen.

ASSURANCE OF PARDON:

The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.  We maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law.  We know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. The gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. (Romans 6:23; 3:28; 1:16 Gal 2:16)

God has appointed a day, wherein He will judge the world, in righteousness, by Jesus Christ, to whom all power and judgment is given. The purpose of God's appointing this day is for the manifestation of the glory of His mercy and justice. Christ would have us to be certainly persuaded that there shall be a day of judgment, and keeps that day unknown to men, that they may be always watchful, because they know not at what hour the Lord will come; and may be ever prepared to say, Come Lord Jesus, come quickly, Amen.
